This page explains what happens to your information when you visit The Quiet Suitcase or subscribe to the Postscript newsletter. In short: we collect as little as possible, we do not use tracking cookies, and we never sell your data.
The newsletter (Postscript)
When you subscribe, we store the email address you give us so we can send you Postscript. The newsletter is handled by Buttondown, our email provider, which keeps your address on our behalf. We use it only to send the newsletter. You can leave at any time using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email, and your address is then removed.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how many people visit and which pages they read. It is privacy first: it does not use cookies, it does not fingerprint your device, and it does not collect anything that identifies you personally.
Cookies
This website does not set any tracking or advertising cookies. Because of this, there is no cookie banner to accept.
Fonts and hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. The fonts are served from our own domain, so simply reading the site does not send your data to any outside company.
Your choices
You can browse the whole site without giving any personal information. If you subscribe, you can unsubscribe whenever you like. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it removed, reach us through a direct message on Instagram or TikTok at @thequietsuitcase.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will be updated.
